Juror Statement
In considering the work submitted for “Harmonic Material” I looked first for a sense of balance or pleasing rhythm in the work, often achieved with color, composition or texture. In some cases there was an achievement of harmony between disparate materials or a resonance or sense of vibrancy in the relationship between objects, elements or even ideas. Selected works include examples of symmetrical and asymmetrical balance as the framework for integration and completion. – TaVee Lee
