More

Jacob was born in Carmichael, California in 1986. Jacob grew up in the mountains of Plumas County, which is located in Northeastern California. Jacob's mother and grandmother are artistic, but Jacobs' interest in art was inspired more by his art teacher during high school/ Jacob lived in Redding, California after he graduated from high school, and attended art related classes at Shasta College. But Jacob left Redding and moved to Los Angeles area, to promote his art and support his wife while she attended Fashion and Design School. During their honeymoon trip to Carmel, Jacob had a chance encounter with a Carmel Gallery owner, and his art was brought to Carmel and exhibited in galleries. Jacob and is wife relocated to the Carmel area and Jacob now has his own studio gallery located on Delores Street in Downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. Jacob works predominantly with oil and acrylic, and also enjoys plating music on his favorite electric guitar. His art is characterized by bold colors, painted on his own hand built canvas. He has had art exhibitions in the Los Angeles area, and more recently in Carmel-by-the-Sea. He has been spotlighted in the Artist Portfolio Magazine, Collectors Gallery Newsletter, Carmel Gallery Guide, and ARTnews Magazine.
