NEW! We have revamped AWD's Associate Artist program!

The Associate Artist program aims to involve more artists of the local community with AWD's activities. Artists who live or work in Marin County can apply to this membership.

We are seeking artists who want to be part of an active program. This is a juried process. If you are interested in the benefits below, click the link above to review the full application.

Associate Artist Program Mission Statement
The Associate Artists of Art Works Downtown are a body of artists engaged in artistic undertakings for the mutual benefit of themselves and AWD. These pursuits may involve activities such as art exhibitions, lectures, and other artistic endeavors.

Benefits include:
• waived fee for juried exhibitions at AWD
• reduced rental fees for facilities
• special display opportunites at AWD and other San Rafael locations
• email and advance notices of opportunities
• listing and link on the AWD website
* quarterly potluck luncheons for special presentations, to share art and news, networking, and developing Associate Artist activities
• guaranteed one work in AWD's annual "Small Works" show
